Hello Everyone!
It’s finally release day for Day Sixteen! Well, actually release day was a few days ago, but since you’re used to getting posts from me on Wednesdays, I figured I stay on schedule.
Also, there was celebratory cake and I didn’t want to share any of it.
Now, if you’ve pre-ordered your copy of the book, it should have magically appeared on your reading device.
But if you’ve been waiting to order your copy, you’ll find the scoop on how to get your paperbacks and ebooks just a bit further down.
But first…
— A Weird (but honest) Warning —
I realize this is a book release party (minus cake) and I should be telling you to rush out and get your copy TODAY, but I want to say straight up that this book is not going to appeal to everyone. It’s rather dark, it’s got a serious lack of dragons, and there’s not a whiff of humorous magic going on.
Which is why I am going to strongly encourage you to try the sample chapters before making your purchase. The sample (link just below) should give you a taste of the tone of Moire’s tale. If you like it, YAY!
If you don’t like it, you can close the sample, save some money,. and wait for my next release (coming this autumn) which will be much more what you’re used to seeing from me.
I know this is weirdly honest coming from the author of a new book, but I just want to make sure you’re a happy reader (and I really hate nasty reviews).
Okay, just one more pre-party announcement (sorry, it’s not “Cake’s ready!”)…
— A Buy-One-Get-One-Free Sale —
If Day Sixteen doesn’t appeal to you (or even if it does), never fear! There are still books to be had…and to be had at a bargain.
Throughout the month of May, Kobo is having a Buy One Get One Sale, and two of my series starters and my other latest release are amongst the bunch.
- The Undead Mr Tenpenny: The Cassie Black Trilogy, Book 1
- Hoard It All Before: The Circus of Unusual Creatures, Book 1
- The Unwanted Inheritance of the Bookman Brothers
As with most BOGOs, you’ll pick out two books, pay for the highest priced one, then get the second one without paying another cent.
Quite the deal, right?
If you’d like to check out the books on offer, you pop one over to the sale HERE to start browsing. And if you want to find my books in the sale, just tap the titles above.
Happy bargain hunting!
— Okay, Can We Finally Get to This Book Release Party? —
Yes!
To start, as always, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my review team.
Despite Day Sixteen being a ginormous departure from what I’ve been writing over the past couple years, most of the team gobbled it up like eerie candy.
And they actually offered up plenty of praise without me having to bribe them…well, not much. So ,a big thank you to the team for your kind words, which included blush-worthy comments such as…
- …the storyline had me on the edge of my seat — really hard to put down. You need to read it!–Bookbub Reviewer
- If you want a thrilling read with some solid creepy moments along the way, this book is for you!–Jonathan Pongratz, Author of The BEK Curse
- …keeps the reader engaged wanting to see where this will lead. But still…not wanting it to end.–Bookbub Reviewer
- If you’re a fan of creepy books with a bit of a paranormal twist, you’ll enjoy this!–T.M. Baumgartner, author of The Chaos Job
Okay, thanks have been said, let’s keep the party going with some book samples (sorry, again, all out of cake).
— Go On, Try a Sample —
Again, as this tale is a bit different, I encourage you to try a sample of this story before diving in headfirst with your purchase.
THIS LINK or clicking on the image below will whisk you away to a few sample chapters that I hope you’ll enjoy!
— Ready for your copy? —
Ebooks, paperbacks, big retailers and small…
Now is the time I have to interrupt the festivities and take care of the nitty-gritty work of bookselling.
I’ll try to make this as quick and painless as possible.
Day Sixteen can be found…
- As an ebook on my Payhip Bookstore (at a slight discount)
- As an ebook on most major ebook retailers
- As an ebook through a few subscription services (Kobo Plus, Scribd, Hoopla)
- As a paperback on a handful of retailers
You’ll find links to all those retailers and subscription services HERE
— On a budget? —
You can always read Day Sixteen for free if you simply ask your local library to purchase a copy — either in ebook or paperback format.
Don’t be shy about this.
Most libraries LOVE keeping their patrons happy and it’s a great way not only to show your support for an author, but to share your favorite books with others.
— Want to support your local bookstore? —
You can do exactly that by popping into your neighborhood bookshop and requesting a paperback copy of Day Sixteen by giving them the title and author, or by providing them the ISBN: 979 8215 083 550
Or, if you prefer to stay in your PJs while you shop, just pop on over to Day Sixteen‘s page on Bookshop.org and select your favorite bookshop before you make your purchase.
— That’s it. Party’s over, and there’s still no cake —
But there is a cat photo.
Many many thanks again to my review team, to all of you who pre-ordered the book, and to anyone who grabs the book today, and a HUGE thanks to anyone who tells just one other person about the book (to make it easy, just share this post with them).
As ever, if you have questions about ordering paperbacks, about getting the book into your local library, or just questions about the story, send them my way!
Happy reading!
-Tammie
G.G. is eagerly awaiting his copy of Day Sixteen to come in the mail! Or he’s just really keen on a squirrel he saw out the window.

About the Book…
At first, Moire’s sleepwalking incidents don’t faze her. She’s never had them before, so surely they’ll pass.
When further troubling events and coincidences begin plaguing Moire’s sleeping and waking world, her paranoia mounts. Paranoia her husband Neil insists is a clear sign that Moire needs help.
Moire struggles to get a grip, telling herself what she believes is too crazy to be true.
But when people close to her start disappearing, she realizes what’s been happening is more disturbing than she could have ever imagined. And that she’s in a fight for her mind and her body.
If you’re captivated by The X-Files and The Handmaid’s Tale, if you enjoy peeling back the layers of an otherworldly mystery, or if you’ve ever doubted what you’ve been told is true, you’ll find yourself gripped by Day Sixteen, a modern day thriller with light supernatural elements.
Grab your copy of Day Sixteen today to discover what happens when everything they told you was crazy, turns out to be true.
Note on trigger warnings: This book doesn’t have explicit sex scenes, but there is mention of forced sex. There is also a small amount of cursing and talk of abortion. If you feel any of this will upset or offend you, this may not be the book for you.
