Happy (almost) Thanksgiving, Bloglandia!
Just a super quick post since many of my American readers will be preparing to stuff their faces soon (not sure how that’s different than any other day in the US, but…).
Anyway…here in the US we’re heading into a long weekend that might involve loitering around airports, taking long rides in the car, waiting for food to cook, and then lounging on the couch after having eaten too much.
And what’s the perfect way to fill that “down time”? By reading, of course! Which is why I declare the day before Thanksgiving should be Books-giving. As in you give yourself a pile of books to read over the long weekend.
While I figure out who to contact to make this official, I encourage you to do your part to make this made-up holiday a reality by picking yourself up a book, or ten.
