Hello Book Lovers of Bloglandia!

That post title is no joke. There’s a new way you can read my books for free.

Well, okay, I better clarify this. I’m not dropping the price of all my books to zero cents. What kind of loony bird do you think I am. Wait, don’t answer that.

See, my books have recently been made available on Borrow Box. No, I had never heard of it either, but apparently it’s the ebook borrowing app for libraries in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

So that means, if you live in those wonderful countries, you can now read my books for free.

A Little Uncertainty

Well, maybe you can read them for free.

See, I’m not entirely sure how Borrow Box works. Is my entire collection of books  just automatically on their system or, as with libraries in the US, do you have to ask your library to carry the book of mine you’re after?

I’m not entirely sure (and if anyone can find out for me, that’d be super duper!).

But still, free books!! Even if you have to request a title or two (or ten, hint hint), it’s a great way to read my silly tales if you’re on a budget, or if you just love libraries.

Bring on the Whingers

Now I hear you whining, “But I’m in the U.S. How can I read your books for free?”

Well, cheapskate, um I mean, dedicated book lover, all you have to do is ask your local library to purchase the ebook (or print book, if you prefer).

As with Borrow Box, all my titles are available on Overdrive/Libby (the system/app most US libraries use for ebooks). In fact, given my sales numbers from Overdrive, your library might already carry some of my books.

As for other countries…

I’m not sure which ebook app your libraries use, but I bet if you just ask, they’d be willing to consider purchasing my ebooks. Or they’ll laugh in your face and tell you to stop bothering them, ya damn freeloader.

Okay, I lied. They might be thinking that, but they would never say it directly to you.

So, see…free books for everyone!!! I think I hd a dream like that once…sigh.

More ways to get free books from yours truly…

Of course, you can always pick up a free story of mine (“Mrs Morris Meets Death”) by signing up for my newsletter. Once you’re on that newsletter, you’ll get even more free stories on a fairly regular basis. Pretty nifty, eh?

And don’t forget, the first books of my two historical fantasy series are always free. You can get them here….

Alright everyone, that’s about all the giving away I can do in a single Wednesday afternoon. Have a great rest of your week!

Are you in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or the UK? Do you use Borrow Box? If so, I’d love to know if you can find my books on there and how easy it is to use. So please do share your comments!!

And if you’re in the US, do you use Overdrive to read (or listen to) library books? I spend far too much time on there, what about you?

PS – Apologies to all my blogging friends, I’ve been neck deep in editing mode and in wrapping my head around advertising, so I’ve been very remiss in reading your blogs, many of which (from the titles in my email) sound wonderful. Can’t wait to get to all your updates!!
