Hello Bloglandia!!
Hmmm…that post title almost sounds like a cool new book blogging site. But it’s not. (Yet.)
Instead, it refers to another wonderful review of one of my stories over on the Jaunts and Haunts blog run by Jonathon Pongratz*
* Jonny has just released a new novel called Reaper: Aftermath. If you like dystopian/dark fantasy/horror (pick your poison), you should really go check it out (just follow the link below)!
But back to me!
The review was for my short story “The Back Room”.
This was another tale inspired by one of the lines crafted by The First Line Literary Journal. This story almost made the cut into the publication, but the editor’s encouraging words were enough to keep me trying to submit. (I did, and they would go on to accept Mrs. Morris Meets Death).
Anyway, Jonny had some wonderful words to say about this quirky tale that takes you to the back room of a curious pet shop in York, England.
You’ll find all the links you need below, and to all my fellow book nerds, have a Happy #FridayReads

The Undead Mr. Tenpenny
When I saw the book title…my first thought was, “another zombie apocalypse”. A wonderful surprise greeted me with an entertaining story that was written with humor, a great story line and new twist on the undead.
