It’s Friday. You probably already have weekend plans, but just in case you don’t (or if you still have some spare time to fill), I’ve added some new stories to my Payhip Bookstore that will provide more entertainment than a presidential debate.
Wait, that wasn’t entertainment? I thought the whole thing was a Saturday Night Live skit. Oops. Anyway….
Each of the stories below is only 99c (USD) and full descriptions can be found by clicking the covers. Here’s what’s new….
This is my latest and
greatest silliest. I had far too much fun writing this one and the story should give your smile muscles a little workout. If you like clever laughs with your Celtic legends, you won’t want to miss this one.
Is a little death with a side of brimstone so much for a horse to ask for?
Mount up and take a ride with Buttercup: Queen of Death today.
This one, well, I scared myself a couple times while writing it.
It also recently earned a four-star review over on the Jaunts & Haunts blog where Jonny Pongratz had this to say:
“The chills and the mystery really kept me going, and I loved that ending! Definitely worth a read if you’re in the mood for a haunting!”
The Ghost of Arlen Hall delivers a chilling ghost story in the gothic tradition. Feeling brave enough to cross the threshold of Arlen Hall? Then grab your copy today!
By the way, if this one looks familiar, I had it up on the shop a year or so ago but somehow it disappeared. Spooky, no???
This was one of the first short stories I wrote way back in 2013(ish), but I still love the creepy vibe and the dark mystery of what really happened in a certain New York taxi one night.
And, as I tend to do, I took a mythological creature (Anubis) and put my own twist on the tale. Oh, and if you’re on my newsletter, you’re getting this story for free this month, so keep an eye out for it.
“Two dread-filled lines ‘It’s coming for me. Forgive me,’ are preceded by the crinkling sound of safety glass being shattered.
Then the screaming begins.”
If you enjoy tense tales that blend the modern world with ancient fears, you’ll won’t want to miss Transcription of Taxi 6473.
Have a great weekend, everyone! Happy reading :))
But wait, there’s more…
If you aren’t sure you want to lay out 99 pennies on my work and would prefer a free story, you could always subscribe to my newsletter to get your very own copy of my humorously, death-defying tale of time management, mistaken identities, cruise ships, and romance novels, Mrs. Morris Meets Death.
