Hello Bloglandia!

It’s that time of the week when I’ve gone scouting around the neighborhood (because where else am i going to go?) to find something that will make you grin.

This week’s photos not only should bring a smile to your face, but might also make you feel like you’ve escaped your home and dived straight into some tropical waters.

This mosaic mural is what greets all the kiddies at the local elementary school (when they go to school, that is). I’m not sure exactly how long it’s been up, but I do remember watching it come together as the artists put piece after piece into the foundation.

I especially like the turtle and shark, but also love the smaller details like that puffer fish in the lower left corner of this photo.

If you really want to add to the under-the-sea effect, you might consider drawing a warm bath while viewing these photos, but I can’t be held responsible if you drop your device. So, since supplies in the stores are low, just remember to check that you have rice to dry the phone/tablet out BEFORE taking it on your imaginary oceanic explorations.
