Merry Christmas and See Ya in 2016!

I hope everyone out there in BloggyLand is having a great Christmas…or just a nice 25th day of December if you don’t choose to celebrate the wrapping of various birth myths with a decorative bit of pagan celebration into a monotheistic gift that has now been usurped by capitalist greed.

I’ve been thrilled at the number of new followers I’ve gained over the past year. And want to say “thanks” for reading my ramblings. But hopefully your life doesn’t center on my words, because I’m going to deprive you of them for a week or so. No, no, don’t cry.

To get my batteries recharged for a great 2016, I’m going to take some time off from blogging until the first week of next year when I’ll be back with more of my snarky wit, details on how the draft of The Maze: Book Three of the Osteria Chronicles is coming along, and share with you the new bits of art I’ve been working on.

This little break will also give me time to sort out what I’m going to keep, what I might add, and what I’m going to ditch on this blog next year. I love sharing my travel pics and Saturday Selections with you, but I do worry these could be stealing the focus (and search engine hits) away from my writing and art posts.

So, while I would love to kick back and spend the next week eating cookies and playing with the new art supplies Santa brought me, I’ll be devoting a bit of that cookie/art time to evaluating my stats and exciting things like that…because really, what doesn’t scream “Happy Holidays!” like statistics?

If you have any input on what you’d like to see more of or less of on this blog, I’d love it if you took a moment away from your holiday revelry (by which I mean “heavy drinking”) to toss a comment my way.

Thanks for a great 2015 everyone. See you next year!!!!

Thanks! I’m planning a trip to Dublin sometime in the next year and am hoping for something adventurous like a Beastie sighting to tell everyone about.

Oh, amazing! If you need any pointers, just let me know! If you haven’t been before, my top tips are… Don’t be tempted to spend every night in Temple Bar (your beer money will last waaaay longer if you steer clear of the more touristy pubs) and remember that many of our museums and art galleries are free and in need of visitors if they’re to stay that way! Also, I’m sure the Beasties will be out in force, hoping to have you do their portraits 😀

Heehee! No problemo 😀 And the good news is that we can start now, before you even book your tickets… This year, Explorer Beastie and I are going to get out and about more and show you all our favourite places in Dublin! Stay tuned… 😀

I always enjoy the travel pics and Saturday Selections. I get to relive them! Except for Seattle. I didn’t do that trip with you.
