Sigh, it’s bad month for pets in this house. On Wednesday we had to put Daisy the Dog to sleep. We had hoped she might make it to the end of the month, but a major seizure Tuesday night gave us the message that it was time to say goodbye.
We got Daisy from the Oregon Humane Society 4 years ago…she was 12 years old at the time, but apparently no one had bothered to tell her that because she still acted like a goofy puppy. She made herself at home…right on the couch. She used to have the decency to act ashamed, but then gave up the ruse and we gave up trying to get her to stay off…
Daisy was also the house’s fashion star…
And a kitty BFF…
It was a great 4 years Daisy, we’ll miss your goofy, lop-sided grin!
